Apex Legends: Emergence - Lava Siphon

In Season 10 of Apex Legends, we shattered World's Edge.

For this map update, I owned construction of the Lava Siphon structure, which stands in the area that was once Sorting Factory.
The Lava Siphon is meant to be a large, imposing structure, built by the Hammond Corporation - Which owns multiple of the structures seen across the last few Map updates for World's Edge. We wanted to match the theme and architecture, while also bringing in something new and fresh.

An important element of the Lava Siphon were the "Lava Bucket" elements we see moving through the structure. We wanted the Siphon to feel alive in some way, and bounced between several different ideas before settling on something seemingly low tech but effective - The Lava Bucket.
