Apex Legends: Eclipse – Broken Moon – Production Yard

In Season 15 of Apex Legends, while I wasn't working on rocks, I was working on the Production Yard.

A Point of Interest located on the outer edge of the map, along the barren and broken edges, the Production Yard was meant
to serve as a place of shipment intake and processing for the colony on this moon. This POI continues the
"industrial" lookset from across the map, and delivers it in a big way.

As well as taking on this POI, I developed the zone and terrain surrounding it - The Brakken Cliffs.
The map's fiction portrays a machine at its center in the process of terraforming the moon, and I wanted this to feel
like an area that was struggling through that terraforming process - there is flora, but it's marshy, and ill-formed, struggling
to take hold. It was a ton of fun developing this area and I'm really happy with how it all turned out.

The biggest thing was keeping things clear, and avoiding getting too busy with the detail and noise.

Long rail lines lead you from the flank entrances, all the way to the central shipping yard area.

The Production Yard (Exterior): The exterior of this POI pulled from many of the buildings in the surrounding zones - we really wanted to create a clear visual language for our building types, with this building falling under the "Industrial" umbrella.
